Customer & Tech Support
The Hudson Group provides more

We are looking for a motivated
and articulate entry-level Customer & Tech Support person
to join our fast-growing group. You must have the desire to
learn and understand our clients' needs and expectations. The

Responsibilities:
- Responding promptly and thoroughly
to support inquiries received via telephone, email and instant
chat
- First point of contact for new
registrants and general inquiries
- Providing online demonstrations
of our product and answering product-related questions
- Independently resolving technical/customer
support issues and escalating cases when necessary
- Documenting system-wide problems
and common questions posed by customers
- Providing valuable "front
lines" feedback to the Product Development, Marketing and
Engineering Teams
- Cultivating and expanding the
FAQ/Knowledge Base used by all customers
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent
- Internet experience, preferably
with ASP solutions or browser-based systems
- Knowledge of the procedures behind
email marketing, email delivery and direct mail
- Competency in MS Office, Internet
Explorer and Netscape
- Patience, professionalism and
the ability to see a task through from start to finish
- Proficient multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and time management
are a must
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal
skills
- Must be an energetic "self-starter"
with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Sense of humor is essential
- Travel required 25% of the time;
75% in our North Andover, MA based office.

Development Engineer
The Hudson Group provides more

Job description:
This position will be working
as a software developer implementing new projects to meet customer
requirements and maintaining existing customer sites/databases.
You must have the desire to learn and understand project requirements,
and be able to successfully implement projects to completion.
Qualifications/Requirements:
The successful candidate will have
3 to 5 years of experience in CGI/Perl development, with a Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or equivalent. He or she will have
excellent communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving
abilities, able to work independently with little supervision
and also be able to work in a team environment. An understanding
of project development, attention to detail and consistency
in code writing are required.
The successful candidate will also
have significant experience with and understanding of:
- Perl and shell script programming
for automation
- CGI
- Web Application Development
- Experience using MySQL databases
- Linux programming
- Apache, HTML, HTTP/HTTPS, JavaScript
- Experience with MXL parsing
